WE DID IT!

On July 15, 2026, the Wayne County Airport Authority announced that it will NOT move forward with plans to open a cigar bar and restaurant inside the McNamara Terminal at Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW).

This is a major victory for public health and for everyone who spoke up in support of a healthy, smoke-free airport.
